I think it’s a US Army Air Corps Officer hat badge from World War Two. You can find lots of sources on the internet for them.

Little update. I actually found this belt buckle right next to it. Didn't think much of it, but I can clearly see it was attached to it. The buckle says "N.S MEYER INC NEW YORK SOLID BRASS"
