What is this guys I found it while searching fields for Native American artifacts. Looks like a fossilized turd or egg but that?s just my ignorant guess.

It’s called a Septarian Nodule. Google it and check out Images.

It kinda looks like that but it doesn?t have an outer layer of limestone looks more like iron ore or something

I believe it is a hematite nodule.
