Is that a deer head?

My initial response is "no, not scouting".

But...??

I've never seen that deer head with a Fleur de lis.

Could that be a wolf, rather than a deer head?

If so, could be cub scout related.

Anybody old enough to remember "Pedro", the burro mascot of Philmont Ranch, the national Boy Scout camp?

I'd say Boy Scout - Fleur de Lis with stars & square knot

Thats what I was thinking too, like you said, square not, the fleur-de-lis, makes me think its boy scout or cub scout related. I can't imagine why it would have a deer, if it is a deer on it though.

Might be Girl Scouts or Brownies (The GS use Fleur de lis too.)

Looks Boy Scouts to me....maybe a pin for deer hunting...as they had or may still have a badge for deer hunting. Contact this person....I bet he could tell you: http://mitchreis.com/bsaneed.htm

Boy Scouts use fleur-de-lis.
Girl Scouts use Trefoil.

The rope around the fleur-de-lis means WORLD SCOUTING ORGANIZATION...not a Boy Scout symbol...but used to represent World Scouting, uniting all scouts from around the world. It has a purple background.
