Rarely take pics in the field but figured the Garrett would be good for size perspective.
The ball gives the impression of some kind of hitch ,, Though this thing is stout don't think it is solid enough for that, is thick but hollow.
Has a slight curve to it, and looks like it has an arm of sorts with a screw hole at the end.
Possibly a gear shifter ? A bit heavy for that I think.
