What type of seal is this ??

Hello people
Today i was on metal detecting hunt and i came across on this wax seal (double L).
i try hard to know more about the maker but no luck.
If anyone know more please let me know.

The double L's are probably someone's initials.
I would say the seal dates to around 1800 give or take a few years.

i wonder about the shaft / handle
maybe missing the wood handle
the carving dosent look very deep
not ornate, seems common
it could have belonged to anyone
recommed you research the immediate area it was found and search local records
