Wagon wheel hub? Having a hard time determining size with no reference.

Bologna might be onto it, the spaces may have held the bearings, similar to a modern caged roller bearing. Ddf.

Wagon wheel hub. The spaces were for the spokes. There was no bearing just axle grease, lots of axle grease!!
