What year was this White's coinmaster detector made?? looks like 1960's

Got this thing at a garage sale and it works !! i tried getting info on it but could not find any ...

Did you try the Whites website?They have manuals and such for most models, I picked up one very similiar to your's, its a Whites Coinmaster 2/D ,at a Goodwill store (and probably paid too much....), and it looks to be around the same era, mine is a 1974 model. I found the operating manual at their website.

I e-mailed White's electronics and was told it was from 1971 , they dont have a manual for it but the one from the Coinmaster 1TR AM model will work since they both have similar features ..

What is I/2 ??

Looking at the ID plate MODEL NO. C1AM. I would say it is a Coinmaster 1 AM.
And the Date would be I=9th letter in alphabet ( Sept.)
2= 1972
