Whats the difference: Sovereign / Sovereign GT

Hey all,

I might have the chance to pick up a Sovereign for almost a steal. I was told that it was about 9 years old and used for a month and then put away.

I had read in another post that they no longer service the Sovereign detector, is that right? Could someone give me some info about this detector?

i did read they are almost out of parts for the old Sovereign XS but no problems on parts for the Elite and GT.

... The Sovereign you are asking about is the first one made it was first made around 1992 i had one i don't know if you can get parts for it or not. I know you can not get the instruction manual any more......Jim
