Just got permission to hunt this site Saturday, it was on my list to work on getting permission
for 2 years, finally hit it twice today, 2 hours this morning and 2 this afternoon. After Sundays
clad fest these oldies were a site for hungry eyes. Started out with a 99 I.H. then my first seated
dime of the year an 1855. Finished the day off with 83 & 01 I.H.'s, 14p & 20p wheaties. Plenty of
the usual from the old field site, can slaw, copper, brass and aluminium.

Awesome Job on finding that Variety III Seated dime. Sure beats Var IV, plus they only made those from 53-55.
I'd be calling that Seated field if I were you.

Thanks guys, that dime was a huge surprise. The creamery was founded in 1876 there.
I believe it is a much older site. Hunted the next day and didn't find any coins just iron,
copper and brass objects.
