I am sure this isn't too exciting for most but I have been at it all year and really haven't found much more then clad. Was starting to get a little down about never finding anything too old and then tried new spot at park today before rain came in. 1929 wheatie so I'm reinvigorated! And whatever the hell this shield thing is, looks like it fell off a coat or something, if anyone knows feel free...

Keep on digging. Try a local creek's swimming hole. Or go gold prospecting, with a companion for safety.
