My wheat to silver ratio is a bit off.

My friends and I have pounded the obvious areas very hard over the last 20 years. We have cleaned most of your normal hunting spots(parks, schools etc) to the extent of our current detectors abilities. I bought a E-Trac a few weeks ago knowing new technology would bring new life to these old site. I can now hunt these old place and pull good stuff. The E-Trac has a reputation as a silver magnet so my silver to wheat count is a bit off. Here is a picture of my finds with a new detector from old sites where our older detectors had quit producing.

There are 7 wheats to 3 silver coins. One Indian Head, 6 rings(1 gold 3 silver) and a gold earring. It is results like this that tell me without a doubt a new detector can be the key to older coins.

wow those are some great finds, I am sure your ratio will improve greatly with the etrac

Sweet finds . I bet there are throngs now thinking of updating their equipment I know I am nice :coffee2: :hello2:Rob.

now I am at 450 wheats to 92 silver
4.89 to 1

wow well u would have to ask.

i am the king on this.

i have hunted old areas in the year since i bought my etrac.

try 26 wheats.2 indians.1 v nickel. to zero silver

WHAT RATIO IS THAT ?

every day i dream of finding a silver but it never happens

I have gotten 2 silver this year and 8 wheats. Along with $86.01 in clad that I turned into the bank this week.....Matt

I plan on starting my ratio once I start digging more silver, and more wheats.
