Season 2 is off to a good start. This war was again $25 boxes of cents. bought $5 to $10 at a time from various banks.

Dad came out ahead finding 10 Wheats (oldest 1926), 2 dimes (keeping his dime in penny roll streak alive) and 1 King George VI (1949).

Tanner came in a close second with 8 common wheats (oldest 1944).

Was is the dime in a penny roll streak up to now?
 

Metal detected pennies are red, making them easy to be mistakenly put in penny rolls.

It usually says $25 in the post, but I don't know since when that started occuring.
