Dad would like to protest this battle to the commissioner. Tanner cherry picked the roll from 1966. He ended up crushing his dad with at total of 31 wheats (oldest 1923). Tanner also found a dime in one of his rolls. Dad managed just 11 wheats (oldest 1929) He also found 2 King George's 1943, 1945. He also found a nice 1964 young queen (this is an upgrade for our Canadian cent book).

Keep on Searching

Dad and Tanner

PS We also had a nice silver score, hope to post it in the morning.

I love seeing these posts, it reminds me of when my father and I used to go to coin stores and stuff. How much do you guys go through when you do these wheat wars?

G & T, you guys are one significant reason why I search cents. With the news that Canada tried to eliminate the cent coin from mintage this year I am hanging on to every one I can find, as well as any wheats. Keep up the good work and the posts of finds.
