I was released from the hospital this morning after been in a car wreck on the way to a new job monday morning and we stopped to get my pain medication at walgreens, well i looked at my change and in it was a 1942 d wheatie in really nice shape.
Not a bad way to start the weekend, considering i'm to sore to get out and detect.

a pickup broadsided me in the driver side door, breaking my left arm, three ribs and blacking my eye. They kept me in the hospital almost a week because several weeks back i suffered a concussion and ive been through several cat scans, numerous x rays and other test .
im going home, going to bed.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident. Wow, it will take a while to recover from those injuries. I've been there too. Take the meds with food so you won't mess up your stomach. I took them without food once and I'll never do that again. Hang in there buddy and god bless!

Been there, Done that also. I was T-Boned by another pick-up that ran redlight at 60mph. But, I was lucky, he hit me on passenger side and I was alone. Then he ran me into power pole at 40mph. broke it off 40ft above ground, dopped 4- 4800 volt wires on my truck. I walked away with bump on my head and serious bruises on my ribs where shoulder belt was, but a year later I found out my spine is twisted in two places. Totaled my truck, was off work 6 weeks. Seatbelts and the Lord are what saved me...... and He saved you too..... Nice find, and godspeed on your recovery.......NGE P.S. that was in Sept. of 1998
