Got out this morning and hunting a large older park that I had never hunted before . I thought it might have some old items due to the history of the area . No silver but I did manage three wheats , 1940 , 1956D & 1958D . Also found a cool old piece that has some decoration on it . It was bent really good and was at 9 inches deep ! Maybe copper ? The other item is in the tumbler and looks like some kind of old coin or token . I'll post pictures of it after a good tumble :laughing7: . The only jewelry were two junk pendents . Total clad was $6.27 for about three hours .

I didn't think of that , maybe . It looks like it was longer and has been cut in half .

The rusted coin is almost certainly a 1943 steel penny. I have one that I've tumbled for 48 hours but still can't identify anything yet. Not sure if I ever will.

It is much bigger than a penny . A bit larger than a nickel .

And it will stay a mystery . No detail left at all . Maybe a silver coin :dontknow: .

A silver coin wouldn't rust though.

Sounds like fun to me! More to come I'm sure! H Digs!

I know that . It does look like rust more like a black crust . The coin ,if that's what it is, looks like maybe it was in a fire .

Looks kind of like a popout from an electric box to me. Not sure about the size.
