Looks like a fancy sprocket for old timey square link drive chain to me.... Like you'd find on an antique harvester or other machinery like that

I thinking it an old curtain rod holder or an old wheel borrow wheel axle support, is that
a bronze bushing in side the hole? thanks, marion

It's a heavy iron piece. I don't know what metal is in the center. Hollow from the backside to that thinner metal. Thanks
