When I ask people to change their minds, why do they say

"no thanks, I'm happy with the one I have"? Could it be that "a person 'convinced' against their will, is of the same opinion, still"? Best wishes, George (MN)

Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one

Minds are like diapers and should be promptly changed when they become dirty. Both are quite offensive to most people. Sometimes, though, George, you've got to get their attention first with a 2X4

Ask any radio talk show host or TV talking head if they think they have ever changed the minds of their detractors. The answer will be a resounding 'no'.
Why are you trying to change peoples minds and on what issue?
