When metal Detecting is over

I have to say that i was at a soccer complex today metal detecting and the grounds keeper came up to me to see what I was doing, he said they have a lot of people that come in and metal detect there,and just wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving any holes,he said they have a lot of trouble with people leaving holes open and I can see your not doing that and said he was going home and asked me to lock the gate on the road in when I left...I did, and I thought that was pretty cool of him to let me stay there and lock up when I left....I hate to think in the next 20 years or so we might not have anyplace to hunt or a hobby to enjoy because of a few people that make all of use look bad in the publics eyes....but I did fined a nice little silver cross...
