Where do I post to find detecting mates, clubs, permissions?

I am new to Christiansburg, VA area. I don't know a lot of people here and would like to get out and detect some. I have asked around with no luck with permissions in my local area. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks all!

If you go to bottom of forum page there is a spot for each state if you post in the Virginia one you might find some other detector enthusiast's in your area.
