Where to hunt/worried

Ok this may sound funny. But I want to hunt arrowheads. I’m in Houston. But it seems like a lot of creeks in my area are full of water. We do have quite a few gators here. So I’ve heard. And I don’t want to put myself at risk.
Any advice? Or if you’re from this area. What has been your experience hunting?

I’m sure some locals will chime in , luckily I live in Maryland so nothing to worry about here but if I lived there I think I would carry my .357 everywhere [emoji51]

I'm more worried about the snakes then gators. Yes you might see one but chances are you won't as they hide from human contact. Also most gators in our area are small ones. Like I said snakes, ticks and mosquitoes will be the biggest threat to you.
