Hmmm, the weirdest place I've metal detected was in my ex-girlfriends backyard when she had her new boyfriend over! Although I found some loose change, I was dissapointed that I didn't find gold or her panties or something :lol: I'm just kidding folks...


But seriously, I once M-Ded in a secluded cave near Philadelphia. How about you folks?

besides graveyards,
I would say on the beach, in the summertime, people call me over and ask if I would detect their head or other body parts to see if there is metal.
One guy who just had an operation days earlier, wanted to be sure if the docters actually put a metal pin in his leg like they were supposed to.
Some already know they have metal in their body and want to hear the machine beep, and some who believe in some kind of conspiracy theory, want me to locate the metal chip implants in their head, which enables the government to moniter them.
NEVER A DULL MOMENT METAL DETECTING!!!!!!

Yeah, my brother shattered his femur and has a titanium rod through the center of it. He got me to detect that once. It was pretty amusing...

Where was the weirdest place you've metal detected?

In the middle of a highway. My uncle needed to know where the metal spikes were that showed the boundaries of his ground. For some reason the surveyors marked them in the middle of the road which later were covered when the road was resurfaced. I got a lot of strange looks by motorists driving by.
