which coil for my ace 250

I am going to get a new coil for my Ace 250 but need help deciding which one to get. I hunt mostly fields and large farm houses should I go for the 9x12 proformance concentric coil or the or the 8 1/2 x 11 DD coil ?

Go to the Garrett website, punch up the 250 under detectors, then look under accessories for the available coils that will work.

Either the 8 1/2 x 11 or 5 x 8 PROformance coils are good. The 8 1/2 x 11 can give a couple of inches more depth whereas the 5 x 8 will give tighter pattern separation when detecting in trash. I've got both coils for my ATPro. I use the larger one when I want to cover larger areas. But, I'm really liking the 5 x 8 for all around detecting and use it more in all areas hunted. Read the info about the different types of coils and their uses on the Garrett website. Hopefully this helps.
