which of the older minelab gold machines is any good?

i been visiting a friend cornfield hunting.

also plan on doing some organized hunting for

cw relix in va. next yr.

i have etrac and it does good.

just cant quite see the prices they ask for the gpx series.

have an older ft17000. i know it aint the answer.

the eureka gold doesnt seem to get positive reviews.

what was the goodie machine in australia like 5 to 8 yrs

ago. there was a 2000 series. or something like that.

ireally cant see laying out 3 or 4 grand. about 2k oughta

Sorry reply is so late, only just saw question. I have used the SD2000 and the Extreme and now the 4500. For the money you have to spend the Extreme is a fantastic machine.
 

The Minelab 705 Gold is a great nugget machine. The DD coil is very sensitive.

All of those older Minelab's will produce the relics next to the GPX machines.
