Which one should I buy?

Currently I'm using a Whites DFX, and I love it. But I'm considering a second detector that I can take in water. Down to either Whites MXSport or Garret AT Pro. Which...and why?

Both good FRESH WATER machines. Both suffer in SALT Water. Also look at the Tesoro Tiger Shark for FRESH water.

Mainly will be freshwater, but would love the option of salt water as I frequent a friends beach house over the summer. Am I asking too much on that? I really can't justify owning several detectors.

Depending on how mineralized the salt water beach is, VLF detectors have a hard time. My Whites MXT is proving very difficult for me to use with any success at the beach even with the salt setting. I'm sure a more experienced user would have better results, but I'm not hearing the tones that the salt beach machines are getting when they swing their coils.
