Looks oxidized . I think I finally found the homesite or what's left of it. I was getting heavy iron clusters and bricks. I need to bushhog the diameter around it to be able to really swing.

It’s modern. Most likely .22lr.

Modern bullet. The little machine pattern around the cannelure is a dead give-away.
