white gold weekend

[Rick (Nova Scotia)]

My first gold of the year and a beauty it is. Found in the water about 4 feet deep with a pirate. My eyes are not what they used to be, and kind of thought it was just junk till I got home and looked at it with a glass. Didn't find much else, but who cares.

I certainly couldn't say for sure, but they could be sapphires, as they do come in a range of colors, and depending on the light and angle they look blue, and sometimes slightly green. Which is as I understand it is a characteristic of sapphires. I'll get it checked someday in the near future.
