Whites Arm Cups

Has anyone had problems with the Whites metal arm cups breaking in half and has anybody found a more suitable/comfortable replacement. Additionally, I looked at making one or trying one from another detector.

Yes. After about nine years it split right down the middle where the screw holds it to the pole. The new one I got from whites is built alittle more durable. And hey, 9 years it was time for something to go wrong. Love my Xlt

My arm cup assembly broke also.I ordered a new one$10.95 +$3.00 shipping.While waiting for the new one to arrive i popriveted the broken one and is still on my dfx and the new one in my desk.
