White's Classic II Wading Machine
I recently finished converting a White’s Coinmaster Classic II into a wading machine using parts from an old Surfmaster II. Standard headphones can be used with this detector, and it has all the original controls from the Classic II with the exception of the speaker.
The control box can be chest mounted or can be setup in two different locations on the rod (under the forearm and in front of the hand grip). The coil is “hard wired” to the control box – same as the Classic II.
I want to thank “Clondike Clad” for his assistance with this project as he had already successfully modified a White’s Coinmaster Classic I into a wading machine. He was kind enough to answer a few questions I had along the way.
