Whites Classic III

I own a Classic 3 and I think it's worth more than $150.

If the detector your looking at is in working order with no bumps or bruises, Yes by all means buy it.

It's a great detector and with a little practice you'll know when you have a good target under your coil.

if it works BUY it !! 1 of the best units out there!!!

Here's a few things I learned coin shooting with mine.

Put a piece of scotch tape over the sens markings, and then put a nail on the ground and pass over it until it drops out and mark that on the tape with a line. Next do the same thing with a nickle.

When your hunting set your sens on the mark for the nail and when you get a target kinda make short quicker passes over it and if it's metal the sound will break up and drop out.

Turn the sens up to your nickle settings and if the sound drops out it could be a nickle, and I'll say this before someone post it "If it's gold your looking for dig everything."

In all metal mode (trigger forward) you can outline the target and determine it's size and lifting the coil will help determine its depth. ie the higher the coil lift the closer to the surface the target, unless its a large object then you lift really high.

I could go on and on but what you need to do is take your time and pay close attention to the sounds and before long you'll be digging less trash and more goodies.

The Classic's are excellent machines. Hope this helps.

Thank You , yes that will help, the detector i had borrowed the only things Ive been getting is nails, rocks and popcans.
