hey i went to a new school yard old area found a wheatie a dime and other pennies.the ground is real stinking hard so if it was more than 3 inches i gave up.any way i am out poncho

Hey Poncho,
Guess I missed the punch line. Sorry to be so dense. I agree the Classic II is a great machine, I found a lot of good stuff with mine, now the wife took it over, and she finds just as much as I do with my XLT. The only real advantage I have is depth read out on the XLT. MOst of the coins in this part of the country is on average around 5 inches, some at 9 inches, and that was a Barber halve I found with the Classic II. HH Scotty
