Tn-joe, hi just wanted to say if I were you I would want to hunt with it first if I couold to see if I liked it. I bought a coinmaster6000/d plain-no series for 20 bucks at a yard sale and it beeps loud and clear but don't know about your model. You might want to call whites and see if they carry all the parts and all# is 1-800-547-6911. P.S. Can't find them everyday for 20 but I think these models were made in mid 70s to mid 80s so you can use that as a way to get it cheaper maybe. Lol they are ancient after all. just saw one at a dealer stand saturday
for $100.00
$150.00 wouldn't be bad
but you should offer him a hundred
& maybe meet him half way if necessary.
if in good condition, it's a good detector
only thing you could pick up a garrett 250 for around $200
