Took the MX sport out in Nevada prospecting on a gold claim today use the stock coil set my machine in all metal no iron grunt sensitivity at 7 ground balanced ran smooth and perfect no gold today but was Finding bullets and a small boot tack 5 to 8 inches I was amazed at the tiny things that I was Finding deep no doubt it will find gold will be out there next weekend again love the all-metal mode perfect.

Thanks for letting us know how it does prospecting. I am thinking of getting rid of a GMT for the MX Sport and was wondering how it would do. I have an MXT but I like the fact the sport is water proof.

Is the prospecting mode on the MX Sport like the MXT? Will it give you a readout of the ground mineralization?
