Whites Prizm 3 - upgrading

I have a Prizm3 (1st machine), And just started out with this hobby. I am finding (what seems to be common) problems using on wet sand. Is there an upgrade I can do to either the coil or electronics (my other hobby) to reduce the false 'hits'?
