Took my mom to the doctor today and after dropping her off, went by a park to hunt for a few hours.
This particular park used to be a farm back in the day and still has a couple of out structures standing.

The first hour or so, I scored a bunch of clad then struck golden OWL by a corner of one of the wooden barn like structures...

I don't think it's real, but it was pretty cool to dig it with the Equinox. Lit up as a 21-23 on it and it had my blood pumping when I saw it staring back at me.

Check for any engraved words on the back

Yes, check for 10k,14k,18k etc or hallmarks all over the piece with a loupe.

Thanks for the comments dave wiseman and HuntH2002.. I've checked but I see no markings on it anywhere. I do see where it looks like a little staining is occuring from the underneath so it may be just a thin coating of gold if anything.
