yesterday was the first day out for me, hit the beach still lots of snow and frost, hoping for copper culture stuff, hit a couple beer cans, but could only dig 3" in most places, next weekend should take care of the frost on the beaches anyhow. probally a month before i can hit the woods again
Just waiting for it to warm up a little to melt off some snow, then some field hunting for me.
I am digging any iron larger then a nail and anything non ferrous.

ME I'm gonna scope some new parks I was real happy when my four yr old wanted Dora gloves GLUBS as she calls them! and a Dora shovel so she can find coins with daddy so were going out today usually the digging last 15 and then she heads out for the swings! out of all these coins from mercs to 1905 Indian heads ETC.. I've never found a half dollar? Where are these things? no gold jewelry yet so that's wat I'm hoping for!
