Cassius Clay, a million times more gracious than you'd think from the boisterous Ali!

Ernie Banks, great singer!

Ozzie Osbourne, twice as paranoid as any song he's sung.

Does R Lee Ermy count? At least to 20!

The Four Lads,The Four Freshmen and the DeCastro sisters(Teach Me Tonight).Actually danced with the youngest,Babette. They were appearing at a place in KC and several of us young airmen walked in and they were sitting facing us as they were being interviewed by the local media. She really looked bored so I walked around the table and asked her if she would like to dance. She really got up fast and thanked me for rescuing her from that ordeal.Cute gal.The Four Lads,Sky King,Georgia Gibbs,Curtis E. LeMay(flew with him) and he also would race his stock car on the flightline at Smokey Hill AFB on some sundays.Adm Bulkeley(commanded the PT boat that took macarthur off the phillipines.),later accepted all new and overhauled navy surface ships for the navy.Probably more entertainers, just can't remember them now.O yeah,Lilly St Cyr and Tempest Storm, how could I forget? And Faron Young,Billy Kilmer(NFL),as a young boy,I met caught baseballs at the ymca during the winter for Lew Burdette,Andy Pafco,Hank Bauer, there were others but can't remember.

Sir Charles Upham, VC and Bar

I met him, shook his hand when I was 17 years old, at (one of) my Bro's graduation from Military Cadets; Sir Charles was the Patron for my Bro's Year.
I had read his History and I was in AWE.
Still am.

Re: Who's The Most Famous Person You've Ever Met?

I've met a few over the years

John Wayne (very nice guy)
Ronald Reagan
Walt Disney
Steven Spielberg
Ricardo Montalban (who just recently passed away R.I.P)

I was making a delivery to Ricardo Montalban's wife at their home in the Hollywood Hills, the housekeeper signed for it and I was walking down the path to my delivery van when a big white Crysler Cordoba pulled into the driveway and out stepped the man himself. I had trouble speaking to him, he was truly larger than life. He had huge hands I noticed as he reached out to shake my trembling hand, I stammered that it was nice to meet him and that I had left a package with the housekeeper. He thanked me and actually made small talk for a bit. This was during the time period when he was playing the role of Khan in the Star Trek movies. A very warm and kind man.
