Why The Garrett ACE 400 and the Garrett ACE 400i Version?

The ACE 400 sold in the US is tweaked more for US coins. The ACE 400i (International) allows people in other countries to learn where their own coins read as far as number/icon designations go. You will notice the expanded ferrous section on the graph in red. A lot of Canadian coins will begin to start reading in the iron (ferrous) zone as the nickel plate wears off. So, it is actually a nice bonus!
