It's been awhile since I've been up there but I have found seated coins in Riverside Park. Its one of the oldest if not the oldest parks there.

Thanks! I'll check that out. Even a hunted out site would be a good hunt right now. It was 0.5 degrees here this morning when I woke up.

Okay, I'm here. Got a few sites lined up for tomorrow and it's supposed to be 58 degrees. Will let y'all know what I find.

Glad you made it, Let us know how you do

Well I got a small handful of clad and a 1948 wheat from Mulvane. I gave Riverside park about 35 minutes today and didn't find anything worth mentioning. I had my little 6" DD coil on so gave up a bit of depth there.

You were about 30 miles north of me. I went out and got some clad and a 1916S merc. With the cold coming in it might be the last hunt for awhile.

Also found on of these in Mulvane. It's the Ivory Soap version on the bottom. Like a metal coupon from the 20-30s.

Very nice find! My heart would have skipped a beat digging that up until I saw the "S" on it.

Even if I found just clad, it would have been a good outing. It was 61 degrees for us, but the wind was terrible! I think I got wind burn! Any bit of color for us Minnesotans is welcome this time of year. ;D

We're overnighting in Kearney Mo tonight on the way home. Weather is nasty!
