About 30 feet long, and 30 feet up
 
When digging in the woods it pays to check the canopy above...:icon_thumleft:
 
See lots like that in the W PA Woods, so I never head into the woods on windy days. I hope I don’t become the first...

Don't think a hard hat would help that.
 
I had a friend killed while detecting. Drowned. I know of two others.
 
Yes, I killed a guy while metal detect.. oh, umm, sorry! Misunderstood the question. Nice tree!:skullflag:
 
Even a Hog eating acorns needs to look up once in a while.
 
It does pay to look up, as much as we have to look down ! Glad you weren't on the receiving end of that one !

Yes you definitely have to look around your environment including up.
