Wierd week in Tucson

Well here is an assortment of items from this weeks hunts, U of A medal 1963 (found in a plastic case) copper medallion with initials, jewelry pin silver color, erring, Nigerian coin, Norwegian coin, Mexican coin, tokens, rhinestone jewelry, large men's ring, small women's ring, copper nugget, Go For It pin.
The one I can not figure out is the copper hinged rectangle case

Way to small about 1 inch wide 2.5 long and 3/8 thick

That case, it is too shallow for cigarettes? It reminds me of a reed case I got with a very old clarinet I bought some years ago. I wish I knew what I did with the reed case, but I don't think I kept it.
