Wife finds a Ring on First Hunt with 540!

My wife mentioned she might like try detecting with me sometime, so I got her a gently used V540 for birthday. I figured if she doesn't like detecting, I'd have a nice backup for my Nox. I took it out for a test drive and I was quite impressed with it! So after a quick run through of the basics with her I turned her loose with the 8" coil on it and after an hour or so and some trash finds she yells out, "OMG!!!". She hit her first ring on her first time detecting! It was Titanium, but a ring is a ring. Now she's hooked and loves her 540... so there goes my backup.

Sweet, you are now justified to get another detector as a backup for both of you. lol it could be a good argument for getting another detector.
