Wife's new earrings made from gold rings I've found, upgraded...
Picked up the earrings I had made for my wife today. I used three 14K/585 gold rings I?ve found. They came out even more beautiful with the upgrades, the diamonds certainly accent them. Here are the original earrings I had made before the upgrades.
And here they are after adding two diamonds and loops. Wifey really likes them! I think I?ll call this a Valentines day present, LOL!
The hallmark is ?M over a W?, the Goldsmith?s initials and a 585 (14K) stamp.
The leftover gold scrap. I?ll have some earrings made for my daughter sometime and maybe the Mother-in-law.
Normally I?d get several hours detecting time for giving my wife a nice present like this however, you may have heard we are having major snow storms in Bavaria. It?s true, we have close to 24?/61cm of snow, just finished shoveling the roof of our small barn off. For some reason about 3? of snow accumulated on it and we were worried it might break through, crud! HH and come on Spring, Mike
