Will visit Denver (and other Colorado locations, yet unknown,) in late June

The soil here in Colorado is very mineralized, so you want to make sure that you bring a widescan coil. I use two Tesoros, one is auto tracking and the other is manual GB. My Vaquero, with the manual GB runs totally silent with a widescan coil. With a concentric coil, I always have to mess with the GB adjustment. I would say that I use a concentric coil on either detector about 25% of the time, the other 75% of the time is with a widescan. Also, get ready to dig lots of those big ring pull tabs. On my Tesoros they sound just like silver coins, those things drive me nuts! ;)
