William McKinley Assassination Coin/Comemerative?

Not sure if im posting this in the right section or not. I found this a couple weeks ago and havent had time to post it.

It is a William McKinley Coin and it talks about his assasination. He was the 25th president and was assasinated in 1901. Apparrently someone really like his because they made it in a necklace.

Not sure, but I think maybe it is a necklace. Not a coin I've heard of before, maybe a token.

Has anyone ever seen one of these before? Did the government make it?

It is not government made. It is from a set of presidential medals, most likely some kind of promotion. They show up on the forum here from time to time, I have a Woodrow Wilson that I found.
