went out to willys woods this morn and found this button. i thought i had a george whashinton at first because of the little circle border it has. oh well !! its still cool and im guessing old. it reminds me of a oak tree shilling or a willow tree shilling. any info would be great! there is no back marks but the shank is intact. willy

Foliage was a common/popular pattern in the 19th century. This one who fit the normal '1 piece' I assume of circa 1820.
