Damnails and I went out this morning and fought the wind and rain showers but at least it wasn't cold. We didn't find much but I did get a couple keepers to go with all the junk. Found a small buckle, some camp lead, a brass ring that I think is from horse tack and a 1841 large cent. It's pretty crusty but you can make out the date. I'll keep working on it and see if I can get anymore details. Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas.

Wow I would love to find one of those!!!!! good job!!!!!! I don't mind rain I have a sweet rain coat a AT PROP and water proof headphones!!!Thanks for sharing your find!!

Nice Large Cent recovery, congratulations! :occasion14:

I use Hydrogen Peroxide at room temp for few hours on most of the big coppers, just keep turning it. Isn't harsh and brings out detail.

Like the brass rings. Not common like the iron annoying ones.

Thanks. That brass ring gave me a smoking signal, thought it was going to be something great.
