So i was just wondering what those of you who have downtime in the winter (because of snow etc)
Are doing while waiting on the spring/ Summer when it comes to research and so on
Myself im looking at satellite and airplane photos after building ruins,
thought i found the jackpot yesterday when i discovered this on a satelite image:
However, in norway we have allot of places that are protected by law
(if archaeologists think its a important site historical)
But luckily they also put all protected areas in a map on the governments sites,
Unluckily this was on there,
oh how i wish it was not. as the ruins was from the 15-1600's maybe even earlier.
But, back to the subject, i also read old books to try to find out where people used to live,
look at old maps (not that we have to many of those) and so on
What do you guys do when doing research ?
