Went to a spot that my son and I have hit dozens of times. Took a friend who hadn't been there before and I'm glad I did! He called me over to check out an eagle coat button he'd found and it made me switch my focus to another area in the woods. I got a weak signal at the base of a small holly tree and as I dug around the base it got stronger as they usually do and I figured I had another shot bullet. Almost gave up on it but I'm glad I didn't!! Out pops a large coat button which I figured to be another general service eagle. The two guys standing on opposite sides of the shield showed otherwise. Beautiful Wisconsin state coat button. Cleaned up beautifully with a little weak lemon juice and a toothbrush. Thanks for looking and good luck to everybody!
