still looking for a complete one - for newbies out there - this piece is from the 1600s - you find one or more of these in an area - youre in a good old spot - I found a cob here yrs ago - friend got one last year...tree coins have been found within a mile of area in past by others
one of the buttons might be around same age - or early 1700s ...2 coins are indian heads

Casper, those are awesome colonial relics. Congrats!

Those must be rare, I don't recall others posted. Does this one have a square shank / handle ?
I hear you on "like to find a whole one".

Well I've had plenty but none even close to whole!

Love those early spoon parts. I've found a couple of those over the years plus the end of an apostle's spoon which is pretty cool and unusual. And the only whole spoon I've been able to dig is a latten trifed one just last year. Nice stuff there, and I'm surprised you didn't pull out an early coin from that site. But I'm sure you'll be going back .....

You'll get one C2 and We'd sure like to see it. good recoveries as usual. HH, Q.

nice old digs, keep at it,I think you will get your wish and more.-HH-gl

I have a good feeling about this year for you

I also found a couple of those in the general vicinity (Hadley and Northampton I believe) - have you been detecting up here lately - they are starting to harrow some of the fields unfortunately...

Very cool finds, that's a great area you have there. Congrats

Thats some good looking stuff. Site looks old judging by those finds and the other recoveries you said were made there. I'd be excited to hunt an area like that. Congrats!
