Went to physical therapy from 12-1, and decided to try to get a hunt in, so off I went!
30 minutes away and a permission later, and I was enduring the best physical therapy I know!!
Went back to the home a friend & I had just got 5 Silvers out of between both of Us. I was just hoping for a V Nickel or Indian. I set the Deus2 up in the Legacy program, and maxed the Sensitivity out. I also adjusted the tones so that Nickels and Indians would be a lower tone than the screaming high I had set for Wheats, Silvers. It also helped that the ground was super saturated with water.
I was also swinging low & slower. Not as fast as I saw the guy that setup this program. The third signal I got was a 90-92, and solid every way next to a tree. I was thinking hu, a clad dime/quarter? Bam!! A Mercury Dime. Wow! At that point I was in gun ho mode!!! Found several copper Pennie’s that were missed and headed over near the road next to the large curb strip where a lot of good stuff came from.
I hunted it back and forth one direction overlapping swings and Wow!! Don’t know if We were just in a hurry, how dry the ground was before or what, but I ended up pulling 3 more Silvers and 2 Wheats from this strip. I talked to the owner and he said I could come back. I’ll be checking it again 🤦♂️ How many things do We miss due to conditions and such.
Barber Dime-1907O
Mercs-1919, 1920, 1927D
Wheats-1929D, 1924
Silver#6fty!!
I’m very pleased with this hunt. I know it’s not an every time hunt, and I’m very Thankful that it turned out so well. Even if We missed them before. Thanks for looking and
